The ONLY truly authentic American restaurant you'll find in Zhengzhou. Awesome food and nearly everything is handmade fresh in the restaurant. Very nice BBQ place with nice atmosphere given by the owner and his friendly personnel. Ribs are so good but have to ordered one day in advance. It’s worth it!
I'm a native Texan and I KNOW BARBECUE. Zaxx is not only the best in China, but, frankly, I've never had barbecue any better out of 35 countries I've visited and having eaten barbecue in Texas all of my life. The owner was helpful with translation. The menu was able to be translated using phone. The service was fast.
As an American coming here for familiar comfort food and taste, this place is amazing…. If this place was in Texas it would be a 10/10. Amazing food, amazing vibes. I can’t recommend this place enough.
One of THE best BBQ I've ever had! And not just best ever in Zhengzhou or China but everywhere I've lived! FYI I've lived in Memphis for 2 years and the BBQ there doesn't compare to Zax. For me, ZAX is a destination. Best American BBQ in China, with others not even in the conversation. The owner and his family are stalwart citizens of Zhengzhou, holding it down on a level not even seen in Tha 'Jing. Real Recognize Real, and ZAX is as real as it gets!
