This is a old style diner type restaurant. Good value and tasty. Check out the cinnamon bun instead of toast...it is the best Ive had. Took it home and enjoyed the next day. I had an omelet yum! It is a local favorite and you may be waiting outside for a bit...we did.
We went in October. The restaurant was fully decorated for Halloween. I loved not only the decorations but also the normal decor and atmosphere of the restaurant. Great food and great deals. You really get bang for your buck here. I got the French Toast Double Take which came with French toast, bacon, sausage, and two eggs. The coffee was pretty tasty, too.
Excellent food and friendly service! The Windmill came highly recommended by some local friends, glad we made the stop! The cinnamon roll was delicious, the house bread French toast was phenomenal, and our server took great care of us! Definitely worth the wait.
