Fun pub, I haven't been here for decades. It's the same old Tierney's! The bartenders were fast, and the band was great! It's a long (3 hour) drive for me, but I'll be back the next time I'm in Montclair.
Great atmosphere, solid service, and much better food that you’d expect from a bar as packed as this one. The character in this place could fuel a syndicate sitcom for a couple seasons at a minimum. There aren’t a lot of options for a late night drink in Montclair, but Tierney’s tops the list regardless.
Really great Irish bar in Montclair. Pretty busy even mid afternoon, but that speaks volumes about a place. Came specifically for the “Buddy Burger” which NJ.com ranks as the #4 burger in the state! Great burgers and relatively inexpensive drinks. Gets a bit loud, but I suppose that's what everyone is there to do! An island of affordable fun in a sea of wonderful (and very expensive) local restaurants. Highly recommened if you need to blow off some steam!

The best tavern in Montclair! The burger was next level, and honestly, the grilled cheese blew me away! The fries are also super addictive. Everyone was fighting over them.
A great neighborhood bar! Lots of locals having a good time. Food was served on paper plates but it did not disappoint, it actually added to the experience. The bacon cheeseburger was exactly what I expected from a local bar and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Great place to go have a beer and a burger!
