We were passing through on the bike trail and stopped by for a beer. Friendly folks. We were able to eat our lunch from Hungry’s (which is next door) at the bar.
This building has been home to a tavern for exactly 200 years, since 1824: “Prior to it becoming Thirsty’s in 1971, names/dates included; 1820’s being Warner’s Tavern, 1920’s being Windy’s Town Tavern, 1930’s being Scoop & Hazel and the 1960’s Tallo’s Town Tavern.”
Connor is the best bartender and we had the chillest time. Cool bar to hang out in
Solid neighborhood spot, surprisingly good beer selection for such a small place and they always have great monthly specials...no food but Hungry's next door delivers to the barstools 10/12/2 - Now taking cards after being cash-only forever
Nice small place off main street. Good prices and bartender seemed pleasent. Didn't feel any admosity. More a "Cheers bar" to meet friend and enjoy good times with good people . Food next door to Hungry. All in all I will mostly be back!
Thirsty's is what every bar aspires to be. Some places have it, but most do not. There's something special about a tavern that welcomes all, with no pretensions allowed or necessary. The patrons and bartenders accept strangers and regulars, remember your name, and will treat you with dignity. The crowd is mind-boggling eclectic and people from all walks of life …
Great local bar. It feels good to be back home. I appreciate the service here. Always been good to me. Much better selection of tequila then years past.
Great towney dive bar that's really hidden from the public considering there's no sign outside. It's honestly better that way since it creates an awesome vibe to the place unlike the other overcrowded, popular bars in Rochester. Friendly bartenders and the place itself has a great environment. It's definitely one of my favorite bars in Pittsford!
Atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Food is delicious! Cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and one of the best I've had in years. Dividers in place and everyone appeared to be wearing masks as required. Even while engaging with customers, the manager, Brent was constantly aware of making sure areas were wiped down and clean. Great food, great time, great staff. …
From Buffalo. Our son is in camp so we had a mini vacation nearby. Thirsty’s has a great beer beer list. We’re IPA people. The outdoor patio is awesome. The staff is supper friendly. The owner, aka chip & pickle guy, is a great guy. Thanks.
