We finally got to try this place. The staff is amazing even with it being crazy busy due to them hosting the 1st Octoberfest. We will return on our next trip to Sedalia. Totally recommend you give them a try if you are in the area.

We’re from out of town but have loved visiting this spot! The owner is so kind , beer is cold , and ambiance is great! Bonus is titan who greets you at the door . Will visit every time we come to town. Definitely pop in if you’re in the area!

Excellent Tap House with wide beer selection from near and far, 12 on tap and many more in cans. Family run business with a diverse clientele, also from near and far. At the Local Tap everyone’s treated as a local.
Always a good selection of beer and getting a good selection of other liquor. It's a very family friendly business, our boys love going to get a (root) beer with us. You can also bring in food to enjoy with your drink. The family who runs it is really friendly!
From out of town, stopped in on a Tuesday evening, end of July, local place downtown, good crowd but not too busy, friendly vibe & service, met kayak Ben, chill board game area, seating at bar, watched some of the Olympics, sell a variety of beer out of chillers, rotating drafts, had the #9 Diametric Dunkel Juan dark lager 6.4% …
Very laid back. Great drink choices, was able to order food from across the road and enjoy at The Local Tap. We had a great time very friendly, card and board games available to play on tables too.
