It’s always been a great experience for me at The Lancers, the bartender on Wednesdays is extremely nice, very knowledgeable, very hospitable and she is a great conversationalist. The door guy/security/barback and local musician is great guy as well
Definitely has a newer look when one thinks of a dive bar but take nothing away from the great prices and drinks they have. Chill, quaint vibe in the early outs of the afternoon. THE neighborhood dive bar. Lancers has been a staple and has no plans to stop. Staff is solid. The drinks are solid. Jukebox, 2 pool tables, what more could you ask for. There are some other games scattered throughout. Cash only (for now) and you can bring food in which is great with all the options across the street.
