Getting directions doesn’t actually mean I personally ate there Google. My brother-in-law had the Moroccan Lamb which he thought was delicious.
The best croissants in Newcastle and the coffee is good too. The staff are efficient and friendly.
We had the Grumpy Brekkie rolls. 2 with haloumi and the normal one. Very well made and a good size. Very generous with the bacon and haloumi. We also had an iced coffee, long black and tropical smoothie which all went down well.
From Brisbane and wanted to try this area for breakfast, nice fig n walnut toast with loads of jam and peanut butter, big serving and filled me up. Lovely coffee and the young girl serving was super friendly, parking easy to find
I meant to be on a diet but walked past The Grumpy Baker today I couldn’t resist the look of the almond croissant in the window. There was a little break of customers at the counter so I thought YOLO and went and got one and I’m glad I did, definitely the best I have had in a long time …
The Grumpy Baker made us the Happiest Customers! First off- my hot chocolate was divine- best hot chocolate I have had in Newcastle. Earl Grey was fragrant and delicious. Everything was good but highly recommend the cinnamon scroll. P.s Not grumpy at all
Dropped in for some arvo tea and was greeted upon entry, they explained what they had and I was served quickly. The Nutella cruffin was very nice and the coffee good and hot. The cafe was very clean and spacious.
Amazing pastry options, cheap and generous breakfast portions, friendly staff and perfectly hot to-go drinks
The bread and pastries offered are second to none. Always made to a high standard. Thoroughly recommend any of the sourdough loafs, particularly if you get there on open when its literally straight from the oven.
