After the reopening with new owners some time back, the Fireside is truly better than ever. Good beer list, small but well-curated. Excellent house cocktails and a surprisingly deep selection of bottles, with friendly bartenders to navigate through it all. Tasty, cheap and cheerful food without any fuss. I adore the place.
This bar rocks! Rock n Roll that is. The environment is a little tight but cozy. They have some nice guitars hanging high up on the walls. Bartenders are the best. Love coming here. If not for their themed parties, I'll come on Saturdays for their Endless drink special from 2-5. And Marie!!!! I freaking love her. The best bartender in Alameda. Super friendly.
