The Bearded Bean

We had lunch here this week and were glad we tried this cafe. It has a unique interior that compliments the good service and friendly staff. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. I imagine the coffee is excellent (not a coffee drinker) as I’ve seen the long lines during early morning. Worth checking out!

Last day in Canberra; stopped here for breakfast and a coffee. Staff were professional and friendly, it has an inviting atmosphere inside and out with the beautiful aroma of the roasted beans in the air. Had a Benedict that was cooked to perfection. Can’t fault this small family-run cafe in the heart of Civic. I’m an omelette guy for breakfast; good omelette and good coffee and I’m happy and these guys deliver in spades. They open early, the staff are tremendous and it has a really nice vibe. Do yourself a favour and try The Bearded Bean.
