Great little shop with fresh baked breads and pastries. Excellent coffee too. I got a large coffee, scone and big fat oatmeal raisin cookie for six bucks. Wow.
What a lovely cozy place! Friendly and welcoming staff nestled right downtown in Rutland. We got the breakfast special (ham, eggs, spinach and swiss on English muffin) and the daily quiche. Delicious coffee and kale berry smoothie too.

Chose this restaurant for a light breakfast, and really enjoyed it. We ordered the breakfast special, which consists of eggs, cheese and bacon on a wheat English muffin. Skip the chains. Come here instead. The owner clearly takes pride in her cafe and her food. She's super friendly, too. The counter area is beautiful. All the baked goods look fantastic. You can also get a breakfast sandwich on a bagel or a homemade english muffin -- white or whole wheat. I wish I weren't just passing through.
Was looking for a cozy place to grab a bite to eat going through Rutland. I landed at the bakery and was extremely happy with that decision.
I honestly can't say enough great things about this place. The food is always amazing and the everyone is very friendly and helpful. My favorite is the bacon egg and cheese on the cheese and herb bagel. They also have homemade bread, coffee of course, and some incredible sweets. I definitely recommend a morning or afternoon visit for lunch.
