An absolutely phenomenal hidden gem, any horror fan will feel like a kid in a candy store perusing the vast amount of new & used inventory. You could easily spend hours looking through all the various shelves tucked away in various spots throughout the space

I had been introduced to "The Archive" at two Punk Rock Flea Markets in New Haven and Waterbury, CT. After purchasing several DVDs at their booth, I added the brick and mortar store to my local bucket list. The location in Bridgeport was very easy to find and ironically not in a frightening area. Upon opening the door, my jaw …

The Archive is my favorite video store/record store. Their storefront is always clean, staff are always friendly and they have an intense variety of obscure, familiar and remastered films through the company Vinegar Syndrome. They have new tee shirts and a cool newer back room with books, magazines and clothes. Had a fun time today.

Probably one of the best places to get your hard to find horror movies, reasonably priced vinyl/cds and to have a great vibe with anyone shopping there. Takes me back to record stores a few decades ago and will be revisiting this.

Fun way to spend an afternoon! A must for horror movie fans and otherwise. Prices are reasonable- not dirt cheap but better priced than you’ll find online, for the most part. I got some good deals on used Stephen king books. They have a lot of items that are limited / exclusive/ hard to find elsewhere. I can’t wait to …

A fantastic gem hidden away in downtown Bridgeport!! This store felt like a true trip in a Time Machine. Such a great collection of curated, previously-loved media across two floors. Everything felt appropriately priced and valued correctly. A must visit for any pop culture or horror fan!

Plenty of great collectibles, vintage and new, from VHS, DVDs, Blu Ray's, vinyl records, horror posters (new and vintage), apparel, books, collectible toys, horror magazines, soundtracks, etc. Great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable. There is on street parking, just check out the signage. I highly recommend …

A gem of connecticut ! Physical media is sooo important and this place offers everything you might need. From records, to DVDs, books, and even sun discs! There’s two floors, the first one mostly has movies and the second has the records. Decent price for things and they have lots of unique stuff that i haven’t seen before.
