A beautiful brunch spot in Manly. The pastries here is a must try especially their Portuguese egg tart and pistachio crookie. The pumpkin soup was a pretty good value- comes with toasts. The braised pork and cheese toastie was my favourite.
It’s been a while since I had something spicy like this bread.
Cheesecake here is so good! Soft, fragrant, and melts in your mouth. The matcha is also excellent — smooth and not too sweet. Cozy little spot, perfect for dessert lovers. Will definitely come back!
Tenacious Bakehouse is an absolute standout. The pastries baked to perfection and consistently great coffee. You can really tell how much care and craft goes into each item. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and make the whole experience a pleasure.
I ordered a matcha latte with their cheesecake–brownie combo (all in one piece) and it was next-level amazing. The cheesecake was so creamy and indulgent, the brownie rich and fudgy — together it was the perfect balance, and every bite just melted in my mouth. The matcha latte was smooth, earthy, and paired beautifully with the dessert.
The pastries here not only look amazing but taste incredible too 🥹 Highly recommend! Found a great spot for delicious pastries in Sydney!
All in all very good experience. Pastries comes with a variety of options. The egg tart we had was really creamy and crispy. Will recommend to people who wants a sweet bite on Oxford Street.
They know their ingredients well and incorporated it so well into the products. I got a black sesame latte and black sesame mochi croissant. The black sesame cream and the crusty flaky layers go so well together even if the mochi is cold. There’s also a hint of salt in the black sesame latte though imho its still too sweet …
Heard good things about the egg tarts here and DAMN ARE THEY RIGHT. They're $11 which is a bit pricey but it's absolutely worth it because they are perfection. The pastry is so crispy and flaky and the sweet glaze over it is the cherry on top. AND JUST LOOK AT THAT CUSTARD. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN ANYTHING SO CREAMY …
Second visit here. Last time I had the bechamel ham & cheese croissant with hot honey - still one of the better croissants I’ve had in Sydney. Flaky, crispy, buttery, just done right.
