It was super nice! The atmosphere was relaxed and chill! The food and coffee were also awesome! The staff is ok, not very friendly but polite. I think it’s a little bit overpriced!
Great, calm vibes. Incredible food. Great coffee. Helpful staff. Leans into Kazakh food and drink in a simple, delicious way. Overall wonderful experience. The cottage cheese pancakes were perfectly done. Soft on the inside. Great flavor without overwhelming. And the latte irimshik (like sweet cheese) was unlike anything I’d had before but hit the spot.
We lucked out and didn’t have to wait for a table and service was very quick. I loved that it serves a kind of cuisine different from anything else I’ve seen in Chicago. The breakfast menu has a decent amount of vegetarian options but the lunch menu is a bit lacking.
Delicious coffee, stunning ambiance and friendly staff. It doesn’t get much better than that. I was only sad that I couldn’t try the latte made with traditional irimshik as they had run out. But I was still very content with my latte. I would highly recommend.
