Great bakery! Bought my Portuguese bread and previously bought pastries that were delicious! Best to order ahead to make sure to have it when you get there.

The best Portuguese bakery ever in town. Unfortunately the lines are bigger than any Dunkin donuts or honeydew around but still worth the visit. Just have to be smart on your selective timing and promise you will not be disappointed.

We had a great experience this morning. We bought linguisa pops, meat pie, and cannoli. They were all delicious. We were chasing a childhood memory growing up visiting the South end.

I have never seen anything that didn't look like it was made that day. They know how to keep their food fresh. There's always at least 2 people, and most of time there's 3 that are taking care of customers. Both the workers and the other patrons make for good atmosphere and a nice feeling walking in the door.

My bf was in New Bedford for an appointment. I Googled bakeries near him and asked him to get me a Caçoila Sandwich from Sunrise. The pop was perfectly toasted and the Caçoila was amazing. I only wish they put a little more in the pop. I could have easily eaten 2 of them. I shouldn't eat 2 of them …

Love Sunrise Bakery! Local stop for breakfast, lunch, and your weekly bread. Not that my papo secos last that long. Super friendly staff and wonderful family atmosphere.

Good chourcio and cheese rolls! Ask for them heated! Best around. 👌
