Great local bar! Drinks were good and the people here are great! $1 Jello Shots are a must try all day any day!
Matt was absolutely fantastic. His energy brought the entire bar to life even when there were only a few customers here. Drinks were reasonably priced and Matt made them RIGHT. Dive bars are my favorite and I 10/10 recommend!

Stopped by to check out a place to get some drinks before a concert and came across Sunny's! Matt's service was exceptional and genuine! $1 jellos are a steal and they are delicious, the rest of the backbar is economical. The pool tables and bar games are always a plus!
Absolutely the best dive bar in town! 1$ shots? Yep! 5$ shiners? You know it! Questionable bathrooms...best hold it till you get back to the hotel. Tons of drinks and a fuzzy memory without breaking the bank? This is your place!
I've been to Sunny's a few times now. I love the atmosphere and location. Just a few steps from the Red Line station at Capitol Street, it's easy to find. It's much larger inside than it appears from the street. The jukebox has everything and the service is great.
One of Houston’s best dive bars located downtown. Beers were cheap. Jell-O shots were $1. Tiny space inside but pool and other games available towards the back.
A fun bar with a ton of satirical and random posters and signs all over. Cozy little spot with some bar seating, indoor seating and a couple tables outside. Fun little tiki style bar with good happy hour deals.
