You are going to be hard pressed to find a better sandwich in Helena. Salted, fresh focaccia made into a caprese or veggie are my favorites.
Amazing local bakery. Sourdough cinnamon rolls must be what they serve in heaven. My latest trip to Sunflower (for a cinnamon roll) resulted in a cinnamon roll, a brownie, a scone, and another treat that you just pull apart to eat. I appreciate the Pride on the door saying, "You are welcome here."
This bakery is absolutely AMAZING!!! Fresh sourdough and the most delectable vegan molasses cookies ever!!! Everything here is to die for!! And fresh Quiche, with so many flavor options, every morning, you can’t go wrong! The staff is so friendly and everyone is so knowledgeable and kind as well! You can’t beat this place!! 11/10!
Best Quiche & Kalamata Olive bread every Thursday! Four small 2-person tables, great coffee. 4 varieties of Quiche, and many other pastries. They have a sandwich available after 11am. Really relaxing decor and music.

Some of the best sourdough bread I’ve ever had! We got the multigrain sourdough and it was still warm. Super chewy, crust and moist, soft crumb. Made the best sandwiches. We also had a sourdough cinnamon roll which was excellent.

Sunflower Bakery is an absolute gem and a must-visit! Everything we tried was delicious, but the blueberry pecan scones and the sourdough cinnamon roll were outstanding. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly baked, every bite was amazing. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into their baking. We can't wait to come back and try more. Highly recommend!
Adorable!!! The Sunflower Bakery is so cute, and the staff are incredibly friendly. I got their Sourdough Baguette to go, and oh my god. So good. It’s everything it should be and more. Super fresh, chewy crust with a moist, bouncy interior, and wonderful whole wheat sourdough taste, slightly tangy with just a hint of natural sweetness.
