Standard is pretty much the only electronics store in Salt Lake! They have stuff you can only buy there or online. Yeah, some things you can find cheaper online, but you'll never get the service and experience online. It's fun just strolling through the aisles and finding stuff you never knew you needed. This place is A.W.E.S.O.M.E. It has a great collection of old and new stuff. Arduino stuff and antique-y components. And lots of things you just need like shrink tubing, audio adapters, etc.

This is the last bastion of electrical stores in the valley. Since the closure of all the Radio Shacks and Raelco, this is the only place left if you need transistors, wire cutters, high quality precision screwdrivers. If you were looking in DigiKey's catalog, try here first.
