This place is great. Always very clean, absolutely beautiful produce department and friendly staff.
I like Shaws. It can be more expensive for some things but sales are good, produce always looks good and their fish counter doesn't smell bad like almost every Market Basket I walk into. Plus, much wider aisles, and it's very close to my home. All in all, I'll pay a little extra for those conveniences.

I stopped in at Shaws about 3 in the afternoon on a weekday because I needed seltzer and macadamia nuts, and I was surrounded by really old people, and what I took to be folks from a halfway house.
