I was reading some of the posts of the store and it has had face lift, purchase bags and you have to put a quarter to get a cart so what you have to buy bags at publix and bag them yourself l will shop at save a lot until they are no more.
This is a discount grocery store, not quite as fancy or as wide a selection as the Euro-chains like Aldi or Lidl, but reliable enough and very affordable. I'm an Aldi guy for produce and proprietary brands. I get meat and frozen veggies from Save A Lot. They are fine also if you need something you forgot. For me - I'd buy from them before I'd go to Food lion.
The chip in my card malfunctioned, and a young man that works there paid almost $40 for my groceries. Great young man, my cashier was also excellent. I wanted to express some love from my family to the people of this heart store.

I always love save a lot they have good food there. And their prices are very reasonable. Their customer service is awesome. I went in today to get some pumpkin seeds and some pink Himalayan salt. Not bad for 6 bucks
