I love this place. Its reasonably priced, fresh and delicious salads and sandwiches are some of the best values for lunch in downtown Lancaster. Plus, every time you walk in the door, the smells are wonderful.
Just walking by smells great! Very fresh and the soup is good. The specialty croissants are amazing especially the pepperoni ones! But they make those on Thursday and they go quick.
Salted Basque is INSANELY good. Lived in/near multiple major cities and have been to most the recommend bakeries. Only had a loaf this good 1 or 2 times in my life. Don't skip it!
My sister told me about your Fruit English Muffins, which she gets at Pine View Dairy. I tried them and fell in love with them. While I was there, I saw the bagels and tried the cheese, they were absolutely delicious. You have a winner in both, the flavors are so good. Keep up the good work.

Best croissants (plain & chocolate) we’ve ever had!!! Extremely nice people working there and reasonable prices. They also have a stand in central market.
Was visiting Lancaster for the day and a beautiful cinnamon smell pulled us into Ric's. We brought home a hefty cinnamon swirl bread that is a work of art. Absolutely perfect & delicious. Wow!
Stopped in for a quick lunch today between court sessions. The chicken chili soup was phenomenal and the service was even better! Definitely recommend!
Ric's Bread, for us, is a stall in our local Philly Farmer's Market. It has become our go to baker's stand. Their loafs of sliced seed bread make great sandwiches. Their granola, wheat crackers, fruit English muffins and Apple Cinnamon loafs are revolving staples for us.
