I’m visiting Baton Rouge and while here I wanted to support an independent bookstore, Red Stick Reads did not disappoint. The store was fresh, clean, and well organized. They also supported local artists, displaying their journals, cards, and book marks. In addition, the staff was very friendly. So glad I stopped in.
I can’t recommend this indie bookstore enough. It is so charming, it supports neighborhood and other local artists, they have something for everyone and I noticed they were doing some community outreach as well. 100% would recommend supporting this place! What a gem.
This bookstore is my absolute favorite in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas! They have most of the popular books you may want, and if they do not have something on their shelf, they will order it for you specifically. They also have some of the most fantastic coffee. An absolute must visit!
