Best kept secret in Southtown. I seriously don't want to even post about it on Yelp, but I have to do my due diligence. This is a great find. Rathskeller is the bar that I have been looking for since I moved to San Antonio. It reminds me of the small Mid-West bars that I frequented. Prices are good. The staff is great. The location is wonderful. I highly recommend this gem for a quiet night out with good company.
Best retro bar in the city. The oldest bar in town! Someone needs to invest in getting the 1050s bowling alley going again which would be an amazing draw for tourists. Perfect beer pricing

Outstanding hidden gem of downtown San Antonio. Filled with character and charm brewing since 1911. Come on Friday nights for a classic fun filled trivia experience. If you're lucky you might get a tour of the premises and if you're really lucky you might even see ghost. One of the best 'local' drinking haunts in town. Highly recommend

This is the absolute best bar in San Antonio. I love it and feel right at home. No liquor. Free parking..ballroom has a great dance floor! Lots of history in this cool old place. Nice cozy place to catch a buzz and have great conversations. xoxoxo
