It was beautiful and quaint. The restaurant was also delicious!
My wife and I stayed at the Pine Inn last weekend and had a wonderful time. It was a special day and place because it was our 40th wedding anniversary, and 42 years ago we became engaged here. The hotel retains all the charm it had way back when - fireplaces galore, overstuffed red velvet chairs in a clubby environment, …
We've stayed at the Pine Inn twice in the past few years, most recently for a one night stay during Easter weekend 2024. Each time has been lovely. The staff is friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the local dining options and attractions. The location is great - it's one of the closest properties to the beach (about five blocks …
This was the perfect location for exploring the town of Carmel, the beach, and Scenic Rd. The staff were very friends and responsive. The room was clean and cozy! I’d definitely stay here again!
Overall this is a wonderful cute boutique hotel with excellent customer service and complimentary guest parking. It's located in the heart of the shopping area and also a short walk to the beach. The rooms are very small, maybe 350sqft, but the beds are super comfy. The shower/tub is a bit outdated, but stronger water pressure and lots of hot …
We've stayed here a couple of times and was very pleased. We especially enjoyed the ground level room that opened off the big porch that also leads to the restaurant. The charm began a the Dutch-style door as we entered. Location is excellent-town center. If we make it to Carmel again, we will seek out the Pine Inn for lodging.
This place does not look like much from the outside, but boy is it fancy on the inside! It was the fanciest hotel in town 100 years ago, and they kept it exactly the way it was 100 years ago. The furniture is all authentic and antique, and the rooms are in that period decor. I was there in early …
Amazing stay! Center of everything in town, nice room, and great staff. Highly recommend
Great place to stay. It is quirky and every room is different. The customer service is great and Il Fornaio is right downstairs from the hotel.
You come and stay here for the boutique ambiance and location. Its historical decor is maintained. On Ocean Blvd and great location to site see Carmel. No elevators. Slight musty smell but very clean and comfortable. Worth it
