Amazing food in a very interesting setting. The beer is a must with your pernil sandwich

One of the best sandwich in rio.

One of my favourite lunch spots in Rio. The roast meats are out of this world, flavoursome, succulent and melt in the mouth. I think I made my way through most of the menu always accompanied by a cold chopp. The linguica and pork were my personal favourites but they are all great.

I just asked for the most popular sandwich because i can’t speak portuguese, but they delivered!!! Very kind and honest people and an incredible tasting sandwich. I LOVED the caramelized pineapple on it, never had it before but it’s fan-tas-tic. Muito obrigado!!!

Opus is the king of pork sandwiches in Rio. Knowing very little Portugese we were left confused with what to order when the chef placed a small plate with a sample of the pork be was pulling for the sandwiches and that left little doubt in my mind. Had a pernil sandwich. Was much larger than I expected and so delicious. Now I want to go back and get one of their other ones.
