The restaurant is kind of small and there’s no waiting area. You’ll need to wait outside. Parking can be difficult to find at times and you’ll need to pay for street parking. The food is great here! My wife loves their beef tofu soup. I love their Meat Jun. it’s the best meat jun that I’ve ever had. Would highly …
This place is so yummy!! Everything we ordered was delicious . The leftovers tasted even better the next day. The service was great. He attentive but not bugging us every few minutes. It's a bit loud but that's because it's always packed with people. The one bummer about this place is the bathrooms. They are always gross. They are wet …
Absolutely fabulous. The Kimchi Che gae, Doin Jang Chin Gae, Dumpling soup, Kimchi jeongal, Yuk Ghe jang, potstickers, flaming fondue chicken, wings, spicy chicken… I could go on and pretty much list everything on the menu but suffice it to say EVERYTHING I’ve had here is so delicious and the banchan options rotate and are always scrumptious. Family run, kind …
Ordered the Galbi, Kimchi Pancake, and House Vegetable stir fry with tofu. The dishes were good, but the banchan were just ok. Service could have been better, but nothing to really complain about, then again nothing to write home about as well. Overall what matters most is the food, and it was satisfying.
Went last night and this place is awesome. We came when it was busy and they got us in within 10 minutes. The place layout is kind of crowded with a bit smaller tables but it all worked out and the server helped organize our table. The food was very good, hit or miss with the Kimchi soup and with …
Friendly service. Food came quickly. Amazing food, especially spicy bulgogi. Delicious side dishes. Pleasant ambiance. Highly recommend.
Had Omogari on my to-try for the longest time and finally got to visit for a weekend dinner. Had a 10min wait and we were seated inside! The interior is warm and inviting and service is great. We ordered the kimchi stew, bulgogi, and pork rib fondue. Our favorite was the bulgogi with its good meat quality, tender/juicy bite, and …
We got the beef bibimbop and the rice cake and dumpling soup. Both were delicious and had generous portions. The banchan were varied, also delicious, and also generously portioned. Our table was by the passthrough so we got to watch them torch the fondue dishes, which was fun. We will definitely be back again!
The sides are amazing that is servers while you wait for food. One of my favorite Korean spots to go. We ordered vegetarian Bibimbap, Korean vegetable pancake, vegetarian dumplings ramen and Japchae. The serving size is huge. pancakes and japchae is highly recommended here. I would definitely go back for it.
We were looking for authentic Asian comfort food and found one in the heart of San Jose’s Japantow. Omogari has a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly service makes one feel right at home. The dishes are packed with traditional Korean flavors with the familiar wok-hei for the stir-fried vegetables.
