Fabulous restaurant for dinner. The food is amazing (specially the octopus and cochinillo) and the service is great. The restaurant was a bit noisy at the beginning because there were some office groups but once they left, the space was very comfortable. Nice interior design as well. Olea is great for special occasions.
Olea is my favorite restaurant in CT hands down. My family and I have been coming here for years and for good reason! The staff is impeccable, polite and very informative. Your table is always left clean! The food is by far best you can get in the state in my opinion. The quality is Michelin star and perfect quantity …
Celebrating my friend's first wedding anniversary, we chose Olea for its promise of a delightful dining experience. Our visit on a Thursday evening at 7 PM was off to a fortuitous start with a parking spot directly in front of the establishment. Olea welcomed us with an ambiance that was both elegant and comfortable. Our party of four embarked on …
Loved this upscale downtown New Haven restaurant. I booked a early dinner for my husband's birthday, and 5:30pm on a Friday was the earliest and only non-bar seat availability. So, I'd recommend definitely getting a reservation ahead of time. Additionally, the food and experience was phenomenal. We also had a daily menu mushroom soup (it was out of this world) …
Very good food with good quantities. Service is awesome. Better reserve a table to be sure !
This was an upscale experience for us. We went here with another couple for a nice meal. We ended up staying for a few hours multiple courses and dessert bottle of wine and cocktails. The service was consistently excellent. Cocktails were made by an experienced bar staff. They were clearly not messing around with your run if the mill bartenders. …
In my opinion the best upscale restaurant in New Haven. The prix fixe menu is fantastic. I kept telling my husband it was the best salad I’ve ever had! The beef short rib risotto was so rustic and comforting. Both of the desserts we had were incredible. The Yuzu mignonette was incredibly creative and delicious. Service extremely attentive and perfectly …
The ambiance was intimate and inviting. The food was exceptional, with each dish served promptly. While the cochinillo was good, I have had better elsewhere so id say skip out on it; it did take an hour to arrive, which I timed since i read reviews it took long. However, this was not a significant issue. If anything i highly …
Olea exceeded all the expectations I had. We came to celebrate my graduation and enjoyed our time here. The food was great, flavorful, service good! I have no complaints.
The atmosphere was excellent! Daniel our staff and everyone there were precise and great. The food is well presented. The flavors are mild but enjoyable. The desserts were amazing!
