Great bakery/cafe/lunch spot. Excellent products and service, and their coffee is superb. They also have coffee combo deals, which are excellent value for money. The long lunchtime queues attest to their popularity with city workers. They are my favourite East End spot. Highly recommended.

Best local bakery in Newcastle. I used to live close by, I took my daughter here every Saturday for the mushroom and spinach quiches along with our coffee and then some dessert, really tasty and affordable price. The staff here are always very friendly:) I now moved to a place ten minutes drive from there, but we still go there …

Best pies in Newcastle and just about anywhere else for that matter. I live in Sydney but a trip to Newcastle wouldn't be the same without one of their superb pies! Great variety, traditional and contemporary Australian. Check them out 😋

I love My Baker! The food is amazing and the staff are equally so. Their burgers are some of the best I’ve had - and I’m not just saying that. Well worth a visit :)

I recently visited My Baker on a cold and rainy day. The chicken satay pie was a delicious way to warm up, and was very reasonably priced as well. The service was instantaneous - as soon as I walked in I was attended to. Highly recommend this location for a lunchtime pie if you are in Newcastle City.

Awesome bakery where I had a delicious sandwich and the best Portuguese tart I’ve ever had! The bread was also deliciously good. The pies and sausage rolls look delicious I’d definitely go back again.

This is my go to place when l want a sweet treat anywhere near the Mall, their Portuguese tarts are the absolute best, as is the apple slice, slight crunch to the pastry not soggy, and the vanilla slice is delicious too.
