Great place to hang out if you are a local. And I repeat… only a local. We are nice people that like to keep to ourselves, so if you are someone we don’t know, please stay away. This isn’t a warning but I would strongly recommend otherwise if you do have thoughts of coming here.

We visited from Florida, and went to several bars in Mt. Airy, and this was the only one that felt like home. The other bars made us feel like outsiders! Recommend 100%
Classic dive bar experience. Smoking inside, cheap yellow beer, and a decent IPA, and ladies getting their hair did at the bar by the bar tender who is also serving customers. Dog friendly if your dog is friendly. Hippies, ONLY cool white collar people, and rednecks welcome. Great parking lot with plenty of room. Check out the river out back!
