I’m not a foodie or a food critic, but WOW! This place is right around the corner from our home, and every meal has been absolutely delicious. The food is consistently amazing, the service is excellent, and we’re so happy to have it in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!
I love this neighborhood gem serving Cypriot food! Always fresh, tasty, and delicious 😋 the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The lamb kebab never fails and the hummus is one of the best! Try their watermelon salad, super refreshing especially in the summer! Not to mention they have one of the best outdoor patio in town! Highly recommend
Had a curbside table which was wonderful waiter was totally helpful. The spectacular lamb kebab was delicious. Had extra yogurt, garlic sauce on the side for dip Page a special delicious meal thank you so much.
Wonderful food and service. Be aware, grab a bottle of wine before you arrive! They will open it, but they don’t have any on the premises. The Halloumi was slightly breaded and amazing. Trade menu find.
They have amazing menu. I dried the 45$ dinner platter where I got starters, Main dishes and then desserts. Which was definitely worth. It's a must try place in Philly.
A neighborhood gem! BYOB. It’s definitely not fancy but it’s super cute, the food is really good, well priced, and the servers have such great energy! You can tell all of the workers are really passionate about the restaurant!
Kanella Grill is hands down one of the best Greek restaurants I’ve tried in Philly. I can’t lie everything was amazing. The menu has a beautiful mix of Greek with Turkish and Mediterranean influences, and you can taste the quality in every dish. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. If it’s your first …
Great Atmosphere and not to loud. For apps we got the halloumi and brussels sprouts and for mains we got grilled Seabass and the beef kebabs. The seabass was very fresh and the beef was tender and full of flavor. Everything was great and I would say the portion sizes leave you full but aren’t overwhelming.
We tried the tasting menu and overall it was a really nice experience. For appetizers, the Muhammara was excellent—rich, flavorful, and definitely a highlight. The cheese rolls were okay, nothing special, and the kibbeh was a bit underwhelming. The seared halloumi, however, stood out—it was very flavorful, and the addition of apricot and dates was a really nice, well-balanced flavor. …
Kanella is a fantastic find! It’s a cute, quiet spot that has a great energy once it picks up. The "small plates" actually come in very satisfying portions. The Food: • Shepherd’s Salad: Refreshing and fresh. • Seared Halloumi: A must-order! Eat it while it’s warm to enjoy how the flavors melt together. • Adana Kebab: Tender, flavorful, and beautifully …
