Jerry’s Café in Kermit is also a local owned restaurant. Jerry also is a very amazing person, you can count on seeing all the town locals from morning hours to late afternoon lunch. she has a great salad bar and if she’s working you can count on her coming by and saying hello.
Chicken fried steak with brown gravy did not disappoint it was delicious. My side was fried okra which was hot fresh and tasty. Lady who checked me out I have never seen her before but she was very friendly and even reassured my order with me. She was very apologetic about the wait however I did not mind at all. …
Stopped in for lunch and it absolutely hit the spot. Had the burger and salad bar — both excellent. Service was fast, friendly, and personal, and the portions were perfect for a working man’s appetite. Great small-town diner feel with real hospitality. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
