Excellent food. Live music was also excellent. Three of us had a drink at the bar and then moved to a table for dinner. We shared the loaded French fry appetizer as we had been traveling and wanted something quick. They were good. I had their delicious version of a BLT with fried green tomatoes, mozzarella and local bacon.
Horse Inn is a great place for drinks with friends. I enjoyed the food we had and watching the bartender make drinks. The service was excellent. A hidden gem. Great menu, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We enjoyed everything about the Horse Inn. It may be very tough to do, but you must save a little spot for the desserts. We will definitely return. Our server, Abbie, was extraordinary!
Delicious food, nice place for intimate conversation, front bar is very cozy. Great cocktails. Local cheese plate was very good, had burgers, delicious, definitely save for pot de crema and their sweet cream ice cream.
Loved this place!!!! An old horse barn that was turned into a restaurant...very well done. Food was outstanding. Had the Italian Beef sandwich, Shrimp and Grits, and Horse Fries. All great!!! Tried the Paw Paw Ice Cream. It was different. Will have to find a way to come back here.
