Hops and Barley is a wonderful restaurant that pleases patrons with a very varied menu filled with deluxe entrees such as surf and turf, exquisite salads and a whole bunch of comfort food. We arrived on a Friday between 6:30 - 7 p.m. and were immediately greeted and seated, however there weren't many tables available, despite the large dining room. …
First visit back here in quite awhile. Place has been here in Luzerne a long time. Food was great as was the service. Menu is very large. Lots of options from bar food, entrees and pizza along with apps and great salads. Old school bar with great bartenders who know what they’re doing. Chicken cheesesteak pictured. Great time!
Been here a few times... ALWAYS incredible service and food!!! Any time I'm in the Wilkes Barre area I make a pit stop here. Amazing food, generous portions, and incredible prices
Great food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Killer nachos, French onion soup, portions are huge. Definitely enjoy the Cheese Steaks and burgers. The menu is huge with a great variety of options. There is a dinning room separated from the bar area which is great for families and kids.
Stopped in for the Blue Moon Wing Tour With Rock 107. Delicious wings and an ice cold glass of Blue Moon to wash it down. Good times happening @ Hops & Barley’s.
The food is great. They have great drink selection and the bartenders make great martinis. The decorations for the holidays are impressive. They do a great job setting the holiday theme.
The food is great, the prices are decent, and the service is okay. I've heard rumors they don't clean there dishes well, but I've never gotten sick. The steak on a stick dinner and French onion soup are standouts.
My husband & I found this place on a random Google search a few years ago and the food is indescribable! The dinner portions are enough to serve two people, we never leave without to go boxes. The staff is friendly & prompt and the atmosphere holds alot of history.

Always love going here! Got the penne vodka for the first time and it was incredible. They also had a snickers pie which I took to go and it was gone in 30 seconds it was so good. Also the portion sizes are MASSIVE! Definitely recommend coming in to try something from their huge menu.
