I remember it was a Safe Way and I know the person who put the Safeway in
this place is quite small but seems to have most things that I need. It kind of helps that it's smaller since I don't have to walk everywhere. It can be a bit tight at times but it's alright. The customer service is good. I can get all of my grocery shopping done here in one trip
Love this little old school HEB!! Never change!! Perfect spot in Old Town San Marcos. Easy to get in and out. Easy to get basic food supplies. Love this spot. We drive past the big HEB to go this one. Feels like stepping through a time when things more simple. Love this place.

Best time to go is at 10 AM because there’s little to no foot traffic there. I was in and out in like five minutes. This store is super cute and small located downtown. Its great walking distance for college students to get groceries but also great for local neighborhood. Shoppers.
Far as I’m concerned this HEB is magical. Don’t let the size fool you - there’s a broad selection of all kinds of stuff. The pharmacy is fantastic, super helpful and kind. Great grocery store with helpful and kind staff. As I was exiting today, my bag broke and a container of tomatoes fell out onto the ground. Within 2 seconds I had two employees, Nehemiah and Katie, who immediately helped me pick them up and then ran inside and grabbed a replacement. Outstanding.
