Met with a colleague to discuss playwriting. Had a chai latte. It was hot and rich. The atmosphere is collegial but quiet. Lots of tables for reading or chatting. Didn’t feel crowded.
The best little hideaway in BG! Excellent drinks/coffees, the baked goods are outstanding and the best part is being nestled into a diverse library of books and music. Grab some vintage stamps and trade in read books for a book credit! Cannot recommend more! We love GFT! 💚
This is a very chic and eclectic environment in the heart of Bowling Green where you can hang out with your friends over a delicious cup of specialty brewed coffee or tea and preview many books or albums, or comic books that are for sale. They have table games too! The staff is very friendly, and the selections are all …
Amazing vibe! Love coming here to meet with friends and just hang out awhile. Incredible coffee and tea options. Not a ton of real food. But they usually have some sandwiches and GREAT dessert options like the Lemon cake.
We love Grounds For Thought. I came here often when I started classes in 2017 and went on dates with my girlfriend to get a late coffee and treat. Now that we’re married and have kids, we come here for coffee and treats and kids books! The atmosphere is instantly welcoming and the food and drinks are always amazing. I …
Such a cute place! My partner and I came here on our first date and recently came back to celebrate our one year together. The staff are all so slay and the drinks are fantastic, as always. We even bought stickers and shirts because they were so cute and reasonably priced.
When you picture a coffee shop in a college town, this one hits all of the high-points - books to read/purchase, many different tables, people engaged in all kinds of conversations, other gaming, and people playing chess. The walls are covered with years of posters and older pictures. Generally a warm place to hang-out. The shop is very big with …
Cute bookstore/coffee shop combo with puzzles, chess, checkers, and plenty of places to sit. Great book selection too, and delicious coffee!
At this point I've been a bit of a regular and almost always get a breve chai because I'm a big fan of their housemade chai. There's only ever been one occasion where I wasn't easily able to find seating. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I like to people watch, but there is seating for people who want …
Books, coffee, dessert, and friends. Perfect. Very cozy place where you can read, play games, talk, study, drink some fun coffee, get ice cream, and of course cake! Very good cake! Prices in the 6ish range for a slice and 5ish for a large coffee.
