I have only tried the syrian bread here and it is so delicious. I use to pick up at the local markets but now i go straight to get it from bakery. Cheaper and a much fresher. Will try the meat pies soon. A+++++
The food here is magnificent and the ladies at the counter beyond nice -but- check your orders carefully. Two times now I drove two hours from Cape Cod to pick up my food (that’s how delicious it is), and both times something is missing. Last time the Spinach Pies, and today no grape leaves. Dad and I are bummed but …
Love George's pita bread ,there is nothing like it and I have tried others. It's so thin and pliable and doesn't feel like a brick on your stomach as most breads do only 120 calories for entire pita, you can make sandwiches or just eat with meals.
I normally don’t ever write reviews but I had their falafel wrap today from the Worcester Public Market and it’s the BEST thing I’ve ever had. I’ve had falafel from many different places but George’s is so good! An absolute must-try if you are a falafel fiend like me!
I absolutely love their food. The hummus and pita bread is finger licking good. They are also located inside the new Worcester Public Market. I will and forever will be a long lasting customer.
The food is so delicious and so authentic some people think they might have a portal to the Middle East in the back of the store. Meat pies are so delicious they make your mouth water and the kibbi balls are so moist and fresh you would swear it came from the old country.
Authentic Kibbe balls, the best baba ganouch that I have had, and excellent grape leaves! This is a place to pick up only, not a sit down spot!
Such a great gem. The food is beyond good and the service to match.
We used to come here all the time as kids and now that we found out they ship out food. We will definitely be taking them up on that offer. There’s definitely no place like this anywhere else best meat pies in the world.
When I say I drive from Boston to Worcester just to stock up on their thin pitas (and have been for YEARS) i'm not kidding. They are my all time favorite foods. Yes, pitas. I live on these.
