My two daughters and I were on the Big Island in April celebrating one of their recent graduations from college. We wanted something delicious, affordable, memorable and special. Foster's Kitchen in the King's Shops hit all the marks. From the warm welcome when we entered the restaurant to the fantastic service from Sarah to the personable table visit by Chef …
We were so happy we found this gem of a place! First the food- everything we had was amazing. Our kids are sometimes picky but they both loved their grilled cheese off the kids menu. The coffee martini I had was delicious, as was the bruschetta, which was unique but delicious. We also had the veggie sandwich and primavera which …
One of the better meals I had on thr island. Good menu. Service was very good and friendly. I would eat here again! Really liked the banana pudding and cheesecake.
Foster’s Kitchen is definitely the place to be! We happened to be staying with-in walking distance of the restaurant so we figured we’d give it a try. From the moment we walked in, Olivia greeted us with a warm smile and the best customer service! We fell in love, so much so that we returned daily for four days straight! …
Service was outstanding. Our servers name was Rob. M. I ordered the steakhouse burger but was not a fan of the blue cheese at all. I told the served and without any questions he brought me a different one with no charge. He also never let my drink be empty. He always topped it off. Truly a great and kind server.
Our server, Leaith, was amazing. She was very sweet and took time to chat with our three year old. The seared ahi was incredible as were the crab cakes, and I’m a new fan of okolehao after trying the 1944 mai tai.
After a long day of traveling this place looked to fit the bill of what the family was looking for. A nice quiet bite to eat. Did not disappoint, The fish of the day was stripped Marlin, fantastic, kids cheese burgers, excellent. Happy hour tacos and zucchini rolls. Excellent. 90.00 bucks with drinks. Would recommend all day long.
As a family traveling with a 4.5-year-old child with celiac disease, finding truly safe gluten-free food — especially on the island — felt almost impossible. We were beyond happy to discover this restaurant! They genuinely understand celiac disease and take cross-contamination seriously, which is something incredibly rare to find. For the first time during our vacation, we could let our …
