We had a great time here. The staff, food and drinks all exceeded our expectations. We had the trout dip, olives, mac&cheese, half chicken and the chicken sandwich. Without exaggeration this might be the best chicken we've ever had and we're in our fifties :)!!
Our experience was phenomenal. The chicken was out of this world (more than enough for 2 people), the duck confit sandwich was great, the house chips and onion dip were wonderful.
Cool place spinning vinyl and serving up some good food. Friendliest staff that were attentive, but not hovering. Started with the chips and dip. Crunchy homemade chips with lots of great BBQ flavor seasoning. Cool onion dip. Just like in your backyard. Would like a little more dip to chip ratio, but I'm just being greedy! Mac and cheese was …
The food here was amazing! Got the Duck Confit Melt and the quality of meat was good as it was like a pulled pork but with duck on a bread with cheese as you would expect with a melt. Only thing that threw me off was the raisins though it doesn’t ruin the dish. The mac and cheese with crumbs …
We enjoyed this restaurant very much! Small menu, but everything we tried was very well done! I had an excellent cheeseburger with crispy, thick bacon. The house sauce made the burger next level. Fast service over dinner rush as well. This place is worth visiting!
We really enjoyed the creative menu options, high quality dishes, excellent service, and cozy but classy atmosphere. We had a mushroom medley to start, served cold, and they were pleasantly packed with marinated flavor. For our mains, we had a half chicken and bolognese. The chicken was cooked perfectly and topped with a tasty chimichurri, along with delicious hand cut …
Came to Vermont to catch the changing of color. Stopped by here for early dinner. There was a 20 mins wait for outdoor seating even at 5:00p so this must be a popular place. The chip and onion dip was delicious. The buffalo wings were moist and crispy. I had the half chicken with broccoli slaw. Chicken was a bit …
The food, cocktails are delish! It was a quick lunch, but I loved it so much!
Stopped in for a quick lunch before heading out from Stowe. Super yummy food! Really enjoyed the mac and cheese, chicken sandwich and corn chowder special. We'll definitely be back! 2026-05. Another great lunch at Doc Ponds. The chicken sandwich is definitely one of the best anywhere. Must try.
Doc Ponds definitely exceeded our expectations. The winter spritz mocktail was so good and one of the best cocktails I have ever had. The burger, fries, and soba noodles were all very good. We loved the cozy atmosphere and our server was great. We will definitely be back on our next Stowe trip!
