A very friendly and welcoming visitor center. It is nicely organized and shows off a lot of what makes Lancaster special. You’ll get a brief synopsis on local business, art, and food. If you’re new to the area stop in and be blessed.
A must stop before exploring Lancaster. Very helpful staff will provide you with maps and information on whatever sights you wish to see. It's a big county and a little "inside" guidance goes a long way.

The best place to start with for a tour of Lancaster. The friendly staff provide very useful information for touring the area. It has a nice art gallery and a store of many interesting items.
This is by far the nicest visitor's center I have ever seen! I was in awe. Incredibly clean, beautifully designed and displayed! The local art displayed was amazing! Blew me away! Photos of the artists' works were, understandably not allowed. But I did take pics of some amazing quilts.
We went to Discover Lancaster to join one of the tours around the Amish areas including visits to 3 farms (one of which was location for the Harrison Ford film, ‘The Witness’.
