Cornbread Brooklyn

The food is one of the best soul food I’ve had in NYC. The music was amazing and the booths were comfortable. Samantha was a great hostess and checked on us. I truly enjoyed my experience here.

It was my family’s first time at Cornbread and we absolutely loved it! The chicken was well cooked and tender, the yams were just right, oh and the cornbread was on point. The service was excellent and so friendly! We will add this to our list to repeat!!!!!!!

I ordered the catfish with a side of macaroni and yams. Everything was amazing. The fish is made to order so it comes out HOT & CRUNCHY. Aside from the food the worker Jesus was amazing, very accommodating and super welcoming. I will definitely be back.

I’ve been to cornbread twice now and every time has been amazing! as a louisiana native, it’s so hard to find good soul food in NYC, but this place is the real deal. my favorite is the catfish po boy and yes, the moist and delicious cornbread!

Cornbread Brooklyn is one of those spots you try once and immediately start planning your next visit. I’m still thinking about the cornbread. It was warm, soft, slightly sweet, and honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I caught myself smiling at the table because it was just that good.

Came to brunch with my sister. The catfish was off the chain. The collards was perfect the yams were delicious the Mac and cheese scrupcious even the cabbage was great you must drink the southern twang.
