Great breakfast and fresh pastries at a place that opens at 6:30am! Very friendly staff and lots of seating outside. It’s obvious that locals love this place…I’ll certainly be back!
Possibly the best pastries I've ever had. I've traveled to Portugal and Italy and these pastries are just as superb as you get in Europe.
Cute little Carlsbad coffee shop walking distance from the ocean. Good pasty and coffee Latte. Loved that they had some nice coffee style music playing. Sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather. Plenty of outdoor seating.
It is hard to beat the outdoor seating area of this coffee shop right across from the oceanfront. There are cozy fire pits to enjoy in the morning. The coffee is strong and prepared with flourish. I particularly liked their fresh pastries.
This is our traditional breakfast and coffee restaurant in the mornings. They only have outside seating in the patio area. The food is really good and service traditionally is pretty quick. All of the bakery items are made in house and well worth the sampling.
Café Elysa in Carlsband is a nice and cozy gem. I loved the rich Latte, the eggs and the homemade bakery, which was perfectly sweet. The friendly staff made my visit even better, very good service. A great spot for a relaxing day if you are in the area.

This was a great find. Food was fresh and fantastic. I had the 101 omelet w/fruit. Super yummy. They have no dining inside, but the weather was great outside. My husband says they need to add toast to the omelet meals, but I couldn't finish the delicious meal as it was.
