Best Biy Y around, clean, stocked and friendly crew
This is the best Big Y around the area in my opinion. Their selection is much larger compared to other stores. For example, the bakery at Old Saybrook has more offerings and lots of goods that you can get individually (slices of cake, single pastries) whereas other stores they don't really offer a variety of slices. There is also a …
Great staff and good selection. They always have good sales going on and offer additional coupons and offers through your Big Y account. They always have a, Smile on their faces. Bravo on top quality service!! In these times, we are still met with a Smile, from these wonderful hard working people. Even the extremely hard workers …

This review is for the bakery department: Several times I have ordered cakes or bought other sweet treats from this location and have always had a great experience. This particular time they way over exceeded my expectations. I had asked bakery department to make a cake for a 12th birthday with mushrooms decorating it. It was the best the most …
