Cheap, clean, great location

Little dated and has an unusual order but if your on a budget it has all you need. Its great location for DTWN Berkley.
A song alone doesn't have the breadth or depth of meaning to convey the experience of staying at these facilities. One could ask, "Did I have fun here? What do they have for me to enjoy? The answers would, incidentally, be "yes" and "so much more than you can imagine."
Very friendly staff were able to provide a room at the absolute last minute. I would suggest booking in advance, as I was very lucky (1 to 2 weeks). If you are on your own, a minimalist, low on cash and need somewhere to stay, this is a great place. Very close to UC Berkeley and Berkeley BART station.
Very nice place, if you're on a budget (who isn't). Staff work very hard here to keep bathrooms and lobby area tidy. Front desk lady Maria is amazing, as well as evening guy Joel. Much appreciated. Many nice people here. Enjoy the central downtown location, one block from Berkeley BART station.
Rooms have been renovated and the property is focused on short term and student housing
We have been members since '98. The Y is such a bargain, shop around and compare! They keep offering new equipment rooms and classes.
