Beef a Roo is like Arby’s … if Arby’s took a shower, had some self-respect and didn’t cause digestive issues 98% of the time.

Always love getting food at beef a roo when me and my daughter are out in Rockford! It can be a little expensive but they always have the best food compared to any other fast food place hands down!
We were served promptly when entering, Nina was the cashier and was so sweet and kind. She explained the options and was very patient when it took our group a bit to decide what to order. The food was fresh and hot. The milkshakes were ice cold. The cheddar cheese fries were even better than we remembered!
1st visitor...Awsome! Cool place, friendly employees and great food. Western burger is to die for. Decor is really neat...and spotless...freezing outside and they even had 2 employees picking up garbage in the parking lot.
Everything was excellent. This is the place you think of when you pay the prices Arby's charges. This is the quality of food you deserve. Wish they had a bigger range outside of Rockford because it's a nice place. Very clean and spacious interior.
Exactly what we've come to accept, being a rockford native and former beef-a-roo employee. Upstanding youth was our cashier and I recognized the manager as someone I worked with in the kate 1990's. I had the beef mushroom and Swiss, husband had the western beef and classic rootbeer banana malt. Everything was delicious and the restaurant was clean as well …
Excellent food as always! I usually get the roast beef... My usual... Usually... But I got the Wild West Burger which was awesome too!! Paired with cheesy fries and a decadent chocolate shake really hit the spot!! I love the whole factory industrial vibe at this location!!! I want my house to look like this!!!
Beef-a-roo breakfast is a win. I hate fast food, unless it's breakfast. The eggs were fresh and flavorful. I could tell the ingredients were made to order. I also enjoyed the pancake puffs, they had a little crispness to them. Service is always friendly and wait was <10 minutes.
The staff there were very friendly as I had never been there before. But they were helpful and recommended a nice sandwich for me. I guess these guys are franchising and branching out now. Good for them. Hope they get to Kenosha, Wisconsin eventually. Right by the Illinois border by Lake Michigan.
