The baked goods are divine, but there’s almost always a line. The Muffaletta breadstick is amazing, plus the jalapeño cornbread cookie, chocolate babke, cinnamon roll, and all the bread!! 5 🌟!!!!!
A wide variety,Excellent pastries and breads. Super friendly staff. A little bit of a wait outside occasionally, there's a small amount of seating in the bakery. Comfortable seating and good coffee. Had parm chive biscuit, badu chocolate, and a couple other great treats. Highly recommend
I’m not exaggerating when I say these were the best pastries I’ve ever had in my life! Everything was so good, my went back the very next morning to try more items. The flavors were so unique and highlighted classic New Orleans ingredients. Flavors and textures were perfectly balanced, nothing was too sweet, salty, or overpowering. Safe so say this …
Most delicious pastries I have ever had- snagged the last coconut Kaya bun of the day and will be thinking about that for years. Muffaletta breadstick was deliciously savory and olive forward. Also the cocopresso was a surprising hit- sweet but also balanced. Love u guys :)
Kaya buns are devine. Also love their boudin boy, chive biscuit, muffuletta sticks, focaccia and olive fougasse. Coffee is mid though, but def a great bakery in NOLA.
Everything we got was fabulous. The chicken salad sandwich was the best chicken salad I have ever had. Great cappuccino and Mufflata breadstick. I also got a whole king cake to go. It was also amazing. I highly recommend this place!
Amazing bakery!! The Chocolate Croissant was maybe the best I’ve ever eaten ❤️ & I’ve had them in Paris.
Ayu honestly exceeded expectations (visiting from out of town, saint louis); everyone working behind the counter was attentive and super friendly. they didn’t make me feel rushed and were very helpful in moving us through the ordering process. we got there within the first hour of open and it wasn’t too crowded (week day) and we had the pick of …
Everything I had read was that Ayu was the best bakery in New Orleans and I can absolutely see why. From the atmosphere in the shop to the service to the food, everything was AMAZING. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant (simple but delicious), a chocolate babka knot (unreal), and a cortado. An employee came around with a sample …
Wohoho here I come! The best sweets I had in NOLA - extremely well done baked goods that is say are even better then the ones I've had in NYC and abroad. That chocolate cake (1,000/5) oof is like eating a brick or delectable chocolate delectably wrapped in caramel. Get it. My other favorites are in this order: crossaints (5/5), …
