Avenue Eats is one of my favorite burger restaurants I have ever been to. I am not from the area, and I and my parents all make a point of stopping here when we are driving through. Not only are the burgers good - the fries are excellent too.
First of all, since when is Wheeling cool!? I went to The Waterfront Hall to see a show. Shout out to Matt VanFossen, the rising star!!! The Avenue Eats menu looks awesome! Easily the Best burgers within 50 miles. The Diner Burger n the White Cheddar Jalapeno Bacon Burger r my faves. If in downtown Wheeling, do urself a favor n stop by Wed-Sat. (On the street of the Italian Fest)
My cheeseburger was really good. One of the best I've had in quite a while. Traveling from Indiana to D.C. and saw this place online and my family was glad we stopped there for dinner.
The best burgers in the Valley...The Roasted Jalapeño (not spicy at all) and The Smoked Gouda are our favorites! Fries are really good as well.

Beautiful building and atmosphere. I ordered the Caprese chicken salad and my husband ordered the poutine burger. You order your drinks and food separately. And pick up your drinks at the bar. Then they bring your food out to you. The food was decent we both felt that the dishes were lacking flavor though. Overall a decent spot.
Fantastic spot, very cool atmosphere. View of the river and park, and outside seating. Great menu, food was faster than expected and it was great! The staff are also top notch! Helpful and friendly. Great spot to check out for a bite and a drink, they even have some Cannabis infused drinks that are also good.
