I rarely give 5 stars to a restaurant but this hidden gem truly deserves it, from the architecture to the interior design, plus the customer service and of course THE FOOD, Ambrose excells at everything, they understand fine dinning is not just a nice place and good food but a true life changing experience! We were just looking for a quiet evening with friends and found this absolute gem of a restaurant in Exeter, NH. The food was perfection from the temperature to the taste. The atmosphere was like visiting a close family members home if they lived in a beautiful NE colonial. The absolute best part was the staff.

The outdoor dining area was such a great atmosphere, and the service was amazing. The owners are so personable and welcoming. Plus they have the cutest dogs! We will definitely be coming back!
What a unique spot with a truly thoughtful menu. Smaller size portions of delicious creations of the chef. Highly recommend the asparagus salad and Halibut, as well as tuna poke. Out of 7 plates that were ordered, not a single one disappointed. Great service as well.
