Ambour Hardware

Exactly what you want from a local hardware store. It might be small, but the staff are super helpful and the place is loaded with stuff. A much better experience than a large chain.

Blast from the past ! And a great one at that Proper hardware store and owner is very helpful and attentive to details PS the battery for that wrist watch worked mate ! Thanks 🙏

Really friendly service every time I've come. Makes sense they've been around so long. Also very good prices and they can fix your lighting!

I really like this Hardware Store. One of the few that aren't part of a huge chain. Also, to have a knowledgeable person who knows His way around is a blessing for those of us who aren't Tradies.

Joe's shop is genuinely my favourite of any type in Sydney. Quality and price along with product knowledge and practical advice Ambour hardware excels. From me personally thanks Joe for answering my wacky questions all while not buying anything.Stephen Pope.

I love this place, literally has everything you could possibly want to find in a hardware store. Great prices, helpful and super friendly service. Also does key cutting which saves hunting around for a locksmith. Top notch.

If there was a Joe, in every hardware store the world would be a happier place. I really miss shopping here since leaving Sydney. Joe’s knowledge is rare and if he hasn’t got it, he will gladly get it in for you. A truly great Hardware store

Awesome little hardware store ran by a local who cares about his customers unlike these big for profit company's like mitre 10 and bunnings who only care about the money this guy cares about customers and is always great to shop and support a local!

It's a small store but has super reliable wares, is reasonably priced and has friendly service. I also got my keys cut here for a fraction of what you'd pay at those locksmith franchises. Will continue to keep supporting small local businesses!

What a pleasant experience, so helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you, we will be back.
